Social Media & Digital Marketing Apprenticeships

Increasingly businesses are turning to digital marketing and social media as their key market engagement channels. The industry is growing by the day and skill demands are high to ensure that maximum return is achieved for the organisation. With most businesses planning to expand their digital marketing footprint, increasing their capability and capacity our apprenticeship in Social Media and Digital Marketing offers an ideal way of bringing in new talent or formalising the development of an existing team.

Job roles may include responsibilities such as managing and monitoring online communities, working with businesses to promote, utilise and increase presence through social media, copy writing and media placement, development of social media strategy and seeking out new and relevant content, formulating the content calendar and identify key bloggers and influences.

Social Media and Digital Marketing apprenticeships are available at advanced level (level 3).

  • Principles of marketing and evaluation
  • Understanding the business environment
  • Understand legal, regulatory and ethical requirements in sales and a marketing
  • Using collaborative technology
  • Digital marketing metrics and analytics

Individuals will gain a Diploma in Digital Marketing and Social Media as well as functional skills in Maths and English which are core aspects of an apprenticeship programme.

A Digital Marketing and Social Media apprenticeship at level 3 will take approximately 18 months to complete.

There are no mandatory entry requirements. The level is determined by an assessment of the individual’s job role. Individuals will be drawn from a diverse range of backgrounds and will have a range of experience, age, personal achievements and, in some cases, prior qualifications and awards which may count towards achievement of an Apprenticeship.
